The Artisans for Fort Edwards will be on hand demonstrating eighteenth century arts and crafts including basket making, weaving, rug making, lace making and colonial carpentry. This year we will also have a beautiful display of flintlock rifles. We will also have some wagons representing early transportation and our very informative wagon master.

Unfortunately, Charles Boland, our award winning Winsor Chair maker, can not make the event this year.

This year we will have an expanded educational display with a new slide show and other additions. The Musuem Shop will display its wares particularly our large collection of books on colonial history and some new maps.

Here are some photos from last year's event. We will continue to post information on the upcoming 2008 event as it becomes available to us.

We would like to thank Mr. Bob Mayhew and the folks at the Loy Foundation for inviting us to use their wonderful facility at the old Bottling Works. This is a great example of two private, non-profit foundations joining to provide the community a first class educational opportunity. We appreciate the Loy Foundation's commitment to putting "Heritage" back into Hampshire Heritage Days and look forward to a continuing relationship with them.
